Dionne Biddell or best known as Drib/ Drib’s/Dribble is a Sturt icon, known for her casual approach to everything, a coke pregame and a swing that never follows through. Introduced to the club by her Mum at an early age she has played every grade over the years. It is hard to find a more dedicated Mother and Daughter combination, Sturt through and through. Drib has been known to play with a broken finger, hungover, sliding injuries/grazes, groin injuries and a shoulder that should have retired many years ago. As well known and liked by other clubs as her own you won’t find anyone that has a bad word to say about her. A known hooker be careful if you are playing, coaching or running on third base, the ball could be flying at you at great speed. A great shortstop that covered a lot of ground but sometimes liked to bounce the ball into first base to keep the game interesting. Superstitious about game day rituals, Drib has been known to not wash her socks for many weeks to ensure a winning streak continues. Tripping over her own feet is a skill she has mastered, socks down, shirt untucked, visor not a hat are just some of her recognisable quirks.

A great teammate who never fails to make you smile or laugh, either with her or at her. Despite some time away from the game to play cricket, Drib has reached the incredible milestone of 900 games⭐️
